Email Hosting

Email Hosting

Manage email accounts, configure spam filtering, and set up professional email for your domains.

Creating Email Accounts

  1. Click Add Email Account
  2. Select domain
  3. Enter email address ([email protected])
  4. Set password (auto-generate recommended)
  5. Configure options:
    • Storage quota (MB)
    • Enable catch-all (all @domain to one account)
    • Enable vacation auto-reply
  6. Click Create

Email Settings

Password Management:

  1. Right-click account > Change Password
  2. Enter new password
  3. Password updated immediately
  4. Users must re-login

Storage Quota:

  1. Adjust mailbox size limit
  2. Larger quota uses more disk space
  3. User gets warning at 90% usage
  4. Account disabled if over quota (configurable)

Forwarding:

  1. Click Forwarding for account
  2. Add forwarding email addresses
  3. Choose:
    • Forward only (delete local copy)
    • Forward and keep copy
  4. Multiple forwards supported

Webmail Access

Access via Webmail:

  1. Click Webmail button
  2. Auto-login to webmail interface
  3. Manage email via browser
  4. No client setup needed
  5. Access from anywhere

DKIM Configuration

Enable DKIM:

  1. Click domain > DKIM Settings
  2. Click Generate DKIM Keys
  3. System creates public/private keys
  4. Copy DNS records to your DNS provider
  5. Test DKIM signature
  6. Emails now signed with DKIM

DKIM Benefits:

  • Prevents email spoofing
  • Improves deliverability
  • Authenticates email sender
  • Required by many providers

Spam Filter

Configure Spam Settings:

  1. Click domain > Spam Filter
  2. Enable content filtering
  3. Set spam sensitivity:
    • Low: Only obvious spam
    • Medium: Balanced (recommended)
    • High: Aggressive filtering
  4. Whitelist trusted domains
  5. Blacklist known spammers

Manage Spam:

  1. Create spam folder rules
  2. Auto-delete/move spam
  3. Regular expression filtering
  4. Phrase-based blocking

Delete Email Account

  1. Right-click account
  2. Click Delete
  3. Confirm deletion
  4. Email account removed
  5. Cannot recover deleted emails
  6. Backup first if needed

Best Practices

  • Use strong passwords (20+ characters)
  • Enable 2FA if available
  • Regular backups of important emails
  • Set appropriate quotas
  • Use DKIM/SPF/DMARC
  • Monitor bounce rates
  • Review spam filter settings regularly
